Entrance courtyard garden plantings were selected to compliment the new timber bridge entrance. The plant color scheme is predominantly greens with touches of orange, purple and white.
A new variegated Dogwood has been added in the left corner the white in the leaves pick up on the white birch tree opposite.
We designed a new fence and arched metal gateway to the property using the same dimensions of timber used on the decking. The metal archway over the single gate echo’s some metal detail on the ceiling of the music room.
We added two new pathways on both sides of the property. We selected ‘Chapel’ stone treads and irregular bluestone flagstones, these new paths replaced rather steep ramps which became slippery and dangerous. We added River Birch trees, native shrubs and ground covers in this area.
We designed custom fire-wood stand in steel and copper that sits in the front of the house.
